featuring the artwork of Stanton Stephens
Stanton Stephens is third generation photographer with a BFA in painting from the University of North Texas. He spent eight years as a part of the art and music scene surrounding Dallas and Denton Texas. For his recent series, he approaches his portraits of artists as a kind of editorial photograp using the work of each artist as a thematic launch point. Stanton currently works full time at his family's portrait studio in Bolivar, Mo. An interactive photo-booth was a part of the opening where gallery goers could get their portraits taken and then see it later online.
